It's a dark and stormy morning here.....

it has been a bit nuts the past two days and havent been near a computer......this pic does not do the foggy morning sky justice!

I am ashamed to say, that it is 11:15 and I have not done art a day yet. I have been working on a paper ALL DAY. But it seems to me, and shakespeare might agree, that writing can be art... even if it is boring boring nursing theory... so here it is... the one on the left- my finished masterpiece (well almost finished), the one on the right- my rough draft that has clearly been made into a paper airplane at some point.

These birds are wonderful to watch...they look so calm and serene and then ...Whap....there goes a little fish down the gullet..seconds later they stand all calm and dignified again.

This is my favourite picture of my friend's little daughter Holley with a rubber ducky on her head. She is so hilarious and she has the best personality. She didn't have a lot of hair back then though...

West Coast

This is NOT what the west coast looks like today! 

I smiled all the way down the organics food isle today when I saw these tasty bowel buddy treats. I then walked by again and thougt about how I have so much art in me, just like I have so much poop. I do not need a bowel buddy, but I do need an art buddy. Someone to draw it out just like the bran wafers would excrement. I am going to try my very very best to contribute 1 art-a-day for the latter part of this month, thanks for letting me art when I can Mattae...you are truly an art buddy and I miss you.

It is a beautiful Port Hardy day..we've just been to the beach. This picture is of my friend and her sheep when the lambs were just new. I so like the way they are all flocking (pun intended) around her...it's such a peaceful photo.
