Cherry Tree

I had a busy day today and didn't have much time to make a masterpiece. So I quickly made this tree painting. It reminds me of times when the branchy twigs outside my window are full and pretty. 

Today I also discovered that all my acrylic medium is dried like prunes inside their little jars. as a result, this tree does not have textured blossoms, rather.. soft and smooth blossoms!

I started painting this with no idea what I was going to actually paint. It makes me think of January- cold and dull. :) Hopefully I will actually finish it by the end of the month!
